I n 1972, the grandfather Ferruccio Santarelli made the first investment in producing high-quality Verdicchio. Today, the second and third generation continues the family legacy, maintaining the grandfather's teachings of quality, expertise, perseverance, and reliability.

Villa Santarelli is located in the municipality of Poggio San Marcello, Marche region, 350 meters above sea level. The winery benefits from the classic area for Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC production, situated on the left side of the Esino River in the heart of the historic area of Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi.

Sartarelli is a winery that produces exclusively mono-varietal wines, specifically with Verdicchio, to bring out the peculiar features of this valuable native variety. They select particular ancient Verdicchio clones to produce a refined wine with extraordinary aromatic nuances. Their grape vinification is based on simplicity, with extreme care in timing and execution.

The S and Zero are the symbol of Sartarelli's commitment to sustainable cultivation without chemical residues. The low environmental impact integrated pest management is based on natural technologies and products, maintaining a high level of organic matter. Sartarelli produces eco-friendly and healthy wines for consumers who appreciate the different nuances of Verdicchio.

Since the beginning of their activity, the family has focused on clones of white grape varieties. Recent studies have shown the presence of 32 different clones on Sartarelli's lands.
