The Tenute Barone di ValForte vineyards cover 52 hectares in the heart of the Abruzzo region, between the Adriatic Sea and the Grand Sasso and Maiella mountains. The centuries-old tradition in winemaking now incorporates cutting-edge technology: controlled temperature during processing, gentle pressing, scrupulous and continuous analysis by technicians, and the use of French oak barrels and tonneaux.
The family focuses their efforts on producing typical and native grape varieties from the Abruzzo region such as Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Trebbiano, Pecorino and Passerina.
With particular care for sustainable agriculture and respect for the territory and environment, the winery is equipped with a new generation photovoltaic system for its needs and high-tech machinery for vineyard care. This allows for a reduction in the use of chemical products in line with "Organic Agricultural" systems.
