Russiz Superiore

T he Russiz Superiore estate has a long history dating back to the late 1200s and is named after the surrounding hills. Marco Felluga now owns the estate, and it is currently run by Roberto, his son.

The Marco Felluga family's pride is located in Capriva del Friuli, in the Collio region. Their refined wines come from the Russiz Superiore vineyards.

The estate has 100 hectares of land, 50 of which are vineyards with over 6,000 plants per hectare, producing more white than red wines. The hills of Russiz Superiore offer an ideal environment for grape production due to their geomorphology and special climate.

The vineyards of Russiz Superiore are farmed with low-impact environmental methods, despite utilizing conventional agriculture.

The winery blends tradition and innovation to achieve top-notch quality. Their vineyards, located on the picturesque hills of Capriva del Friuli, produce classic local varieties such as Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
